WHO WE ARE
Undocumented Students for Education Equity (USEE) is an undocumented student led organization at Arizona State University. Our purpose is to expand individual, collective and institutional capacity to openly address representation of undocumented students and contribute to a safe and respectful campus environment. We fight for equitable access to education and educational resources. We work to bring solidarity among students and allies in issues impacting the undocumented community in and outside of Arizona State University.
WHAT WE DO
ADVOCACY
EDUCATION
COMMUNITY BUILDING
We advocate for a permanent solution for all, for in-state tuition, and access to essential resources to remove existing educational barriers.
We believe educating people about issues affecting the undocumented community brings awareness and support to the causes we are fighting to solve.
We provide a space where undocumented members and allies can feel safe while forming a bond that will further our causes and strengthens our influence throughout the community.
"If there is no struggle there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom and yet deprecate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground, they want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one, or it may be a physical one, and it may be both moral and physical, but it must be a struggle. Power concedes nothing without a demand. It never did and it never will."
